MANCHESTER UNITED TRANSFER NEWS LIVE
Wednesday June 7
15:00: Alvaro Morata would be a great signing for Manchester United, according to Liverpool legend Steve Nicol.
United have reportedly had a bid of £52million turned down for the Real Madrid striker and are keen to bring a new striker to Old Trafford this summer.
"I think they need a centre-forward to add anyway and Morata is not far from a world class centre-forward," Nicol said on ESPN FC.
"It would be great business by Manchester United."
14:50: Kylian Mbappe will reportedly reject a mega-money move to stay at Monaco for another season.
French publication Le Parisien claim he will snub offers from the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Arsenal.
Mbappe is currently under contract with the French giants until 2019 but the club are keen to tie him down to a longer deal.
The forward and his parents are set to hold talks with Monaco’s hierarchy after his international duties with France.
14:40: Real Madrid do not need to sign Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea this summer, according to Shaka Hislop.
De Gea has been linked with a mega money move to the Bernabeu but former West Ham keeper Hislop does not think it is necessary.
"I don't think they need David de Gea, but David de Gea is an upgrade on Keylor Navas," he said on ESPN FC.
"Real Madrid have no need to go out and buy a goalkeeper for buying a goalkeeper's sake."
13:30: Manchester United flop Bebe could be heading back to England this summer.
Championship outfit Wolves are reportedly in talks to sign Bebe with La Liga outfit Eibar, where he joined last summer from Benfica.
The Portuguese forward has scored five goals and provided three assists in his 26 appearances this season.
And the Daily Mail claim Wolves are willing to pay £1million for the 26-year-old, who made his name after a disastrous four-year spell at Manchester United.
